Well, I'm taking a semi-hiatus due to the fact school feeds on tests to be sucessful D; Bah. I have SATS coming up this saturday and my AP tests are next week. So I'll be studying (ish) since I want to do well. But I'll be around the RP! (to get away from the school >_>) and I'll reply to posts, and seek fr more people to plot wit. But if I dont get to any of yours fast enough...you'll know the reason why. And if I reply to one and not other, it's just that I got to that one faster x_x

&&I'll try my best to be active on the spring cleaning post too.

Sorry that Erika hasn't indivdually logged to those I recently have plotted with. We can interact in the group log oror we could start a log sometime soon when I'm less busy.

Work's been busy lately, I hardly had time to stop and talk to a few people. Ugh.

But it's been nice running into old friends! It's amazing how you can see people change. Like...Kusachi got taller! Almost as tall as me...why am I so short

Ever since I've been living in Kusachi's apartment, things are getting better. It's alot cleaner. I dont understand how the guy can live like that! I should've took before and after pictures. Like those home remodel shows on TV. And his dog Rikki is really nice, we're bed buddies. Though he really scared me on our first meeting, I was tackled to the ground, afraid that I was going to be eaten.

Speaking of TV, I'm watching a food channel, they're making fish dishes and sushi. I should try some of these techniques at work.

And speaking of work, Koi-kun is a much faster cook than me. I'm jealous! I need work harder now

Hm, I should start making dinner soon. After that, I'm going to practice my guitar

General backstory: His father was an excellent fisherman, and his mother was an excellent cook, resulting to Yasuda Shota expecting to turn up as one or the other. But he took another path of his future.

As a child, he grew up accompaning his father to fishing trips, and helping his mother around the kitchen and her own restaurant along with his older sister.  His sister immediately wanted to be a chef herself, but that goal never really sunk in Yasu. He didn't quite understand why. And he wasn't thinking of becoming a fishermen either, even though he has the experience. In all honesty, he considered being a musician. He always was enveloped by the TV when he watched rock bands performing live. He was like a fish himself, lingering around an interesting bait. It was not until his first year of high school was when he dived for the hook. Over at a friends house, he curiously watched his friend play his guitar. His friend took note of his curiousity and asked if he wanted to try playing. Yasu eagerly took the offer, and after a few strums, Yasu immediately knew he was going to be a musician

To buy himself his own guitar, Yasu decided to actually work in his mom's restaurant as a starter. As he got enough money, he ran to a nearby guitar shop and bought one best suited for him. He still continued the work in his mother's restaurant but spent less time helping his sister and her cook for dinner or go on fishing trips with his father. His parents weren't too fond of his goal in life, and attempted to convince him that being an musician was just an unsteady future. But he refused to listen to them. It got to a point where his dad threatened to sell Yasu's guitar. But he fought for it...literally. And his father unwillingly let him be

After highschool, he was accepted to a performing arts college, which he was quite sucessful on. Two years later he wanted to go even further. Yasuda decided to transfer to a prestigious private performing arts college in Tokyo. He got accepted, left his hometown. and entered Tokyo. A much different enviroment than where he grew up in, but he was going to work hard. Yasu was actually doing great for a few months, until he started hanging around the wrong crowd. All it took was one night, where he was caught in the middle of the night; drunk, wandering in the dormitory halls with his boxers on, and a lampshade on his head.  Not just that, but badmouthing the staffmember who caught him. That was the cut for Yasu.

Hopeless, he thought of just becoming a street performer though he knew that would get him nowhere. So, he decided to go find a job for now. Exhausted from job hunting, he stopped in front of a restaurant called Firefry, staring at the 'Now Hiring' sign.


Personality Traits:

Yasu is a person filled with endless determination and optimism, but can easily get shot down by a good bullet. From appearance, he's considered not one for being strong due to his height. One can also find him strange and unique due to his sense of style. Ever since he got into the musician idea, Yasu tested out many outfits, and was even caught from his older sister trying out one of her skirts. Thus, his attire today is a mixmatch for things, but somehow he's able to pull his attire off...well most of it.

He's also not afraid to try new things. Whether it being playing other instruments to bungee jumping, he's usually up for anything.   He's quite a cheerful and friendly person, and trying to do the best he can in things. Yasu can be quite indecisive though, which is his downfall, and is very sensitive. If he sees someone crying, even if its someone he doesn't know, he'd start to cry a little as well. The first time he went fishing as a little boy, he thought fihsing meant getting a fish as a pet. Catching his first fish, he decided to put it in a bucket filled with water, and named the fish.
When they returned home, Yasu saw the bucket was empty, and was going to ask his dad where the fish went only to find him chopping his new pet's head off. And Yasu cried over that. But now he's used to chopping fish up, but theres few times he inwardly winces to himself. The most he cried was when he got kicked out of the college

Yasu gets picked on quite easily and is quite gullible at times. He tries to defend himself, but most of the time fails at that.  But he can also be one to play jokes on people sometimes too. He's very loyal when it comes to close friends, and doesn't like dissapointing people. Yasu still is a musician at heart, one could catch him strumming on his guitar, his face filled with concentration. Even though he's a good person, Yasu is the opposite when he's drunk.
